Originality: Oddly, few people have drawn a Meowth with yarn.
Technique: There are a few odd bumps here and there, and the positioning of meowth's bottom left-most fingers looks a bit odd, but other then that, you did spendidly with the linework. However, I think this could have benefitted from a bit more shading on meowth. The textures and wall siding are excellent as fas as I can tell.
Impact: Looks great and leaves a good impression.
As last, here's my critique. 'Sorry it took so long, Aqua
I really like this piece! I think its very cute! It's drawn very well!
But there are a very things i would recommend tweaking:
Shading:
This piece I think requires more shadows and just more overall contrast. I there is a very mini amount of shading so little that for me, it really doesn't make an impact, it looks very 2D to me. I felt there should have been a shadow behind on the wall or below meowth. Same thing for the yarn it's very well drawn but it looks so flat.
In short - way more shading is need
Texture:
I have to say im SUPER impressed with the carpet! you did a great job! The only think you should change is the tentacle looking parts of the carpet. It looks like it's trying to grab meowth and the wall haha More shading would make it more dynamic and realistic or 3D as well.
Meowth:
The overall body of meowth is great and on point. The only thing that is bugging me are the eyes. I feel there just to thin, it seems like meowth is squinting. Also the perspective of the eyes is just a tad awkward i can't really put my finger on it, i believe it may be the size of the pupils but I'm not completely sure.
Over all it's a good piece though! I hope I helped you out a bit! :]
