'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through dA,
Not a troll was stirring, nor Grinch in his sleigh.
Deviations were hung in digital Galleries with care,
In hopes that +Favourites soon would be there.
The n00bs were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of Daily Deviations danced in their heads.
And Fella in his 'kerchief, and spyed (https://www.deviantart.com/spyed) with his night-light,
Had just settled down to log-off for the night,
When over in the Forums there arose such a clatter,
Fella sprang back online to see what was the matter.
To the browser window he flew like a flash,
Tore open the tabs and refreshed the cache.
When what to his art-loving ey

All deviants can now write Critiques
:star: Be a giver!
Sometimes you come across a deviation that deserves special attention. It catches your eye in such a way that you're compelled to craft a response that goes above and beyond a normal comment. Or perhaps a fellow deviant is having a tough time with a particular aspect of their work, and you know just what they need to take their art to the next level. As a good Internet citizen and art enthusiast, you want to help them out, but a normal comment doesn't quite suit your purpose.
For these situations and more, we've given everyone the ability to write a Critique.

Recommend Me Some Nuzlockes?
Update: Wow, you guys really came through! I think I have more nuzlockes now than I know what to do with. XD
Gonna be reading a lot of these over the weekend since I'll be away from home visiting family. There will likely be a comic stream when I return on Monday, so swing on by if you'd like to get a sneak peek of the next page. I'm really looking forward to this one~
Thanks again! You guys rock!
As most of you are well aware, I just recently came back from being dead for several months, and I've been feeling a little behind on my nuzlocke reading as a result. So I figured that you awesome people can help get me get back up to speed by li
The comics that inspire me by DragonwolfRooke, journal
The comics that inspire me
So I've been meaning for a while to do fanart for all these bad boys in order to recommend them (since they are TOTALLY deserving of fanart) but I have so many art projects to work on that fanart is one I just can't seem to get around to. So I'm just going to recommend them. These are the comics that give me the greatest inspiration to make my own stories - ones that just blow me away, and that excite me to read.

For when my Stories of Oann eventually come out, one day far away, it'll be pretty easy to see that Mr. Dahm's incredible fantasy cross-culture epic was a strong inspiration. Va

Foreword by techgnotic (https://www.deviantart.com/techgnotic)
Kay (aka damphyr (https://www.deviantart.com/damphyr)) is DeviantArt’s go-to expert on everything “Pokémon.” She also occupies the adventurous position of being one of DeviantArt's main enforcers of standards and practices. We thank her for being a guardian of artistic erotica and especially, for being able to answer every question we get asked about Pokémon and just about anything else for that matter. Supreme Keeper of all pop culture knowledge, Kay must be protected in case of global disaster.
